We are Baljinder and Mandeep Kaler and Calgary has been our home for more than three decades. It is where we raised our family, built our careers, and became part of a community that continues to inspire us. Pure Care for Seniors was created from our desire to give back in a way that truly supports the people who make this city such a meaningful place to live.
Before Pure Care for Seniors, Mandeep spent over 25 years supporting families and seniors. She worked with a home care agency as a scheduler, matching clients with caregivers and supporting day-to-day needs, accompanying clients to medical appointments and providing medication reminders. She continues to work with Alberta Health Services in school vaccination and well-child clinics, giving her a deep understanding of care, communication, and trust. Our journey into senior care began on a very personal level. When Baljinder’s mother was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, we experienced the emotional and practical challenges of helping a loved one learn to manage a chronic condition. In our culture, strong family ties are deeply valued, and she held a heartfelt wish to remain in the home where she felt secure, connected, and surrounded by the people, memories, and traditions that shaped her life.
We quickly realized how essential it is to have caregivers who are not only knowledgeable, but also compassionate, patient, and dedicated to enhancing a person’s comfort and dignity. With the right support, she was able to stay where she felt most herself, and that experience profoundly influenced our vision for Pure Care for Seniors.
This experience shaped the foundation of our work. It reinforced our belief that exceptional care is rooted in respect, reliability, and attention to each individual’s unique needs. Our mission is to provide seniors with high-quality, personalized support that allows them to maintain their independence and continue living safely and comfortably in the place they know best.
